Installation of the Hose/Cord Handler
1. With the mounting location determined, mark the center point.
2. With the RV level, draw a vertical line through the center point extending 10" vertically, either side of center and a similar horizontal line through the center point extending 10" horizontally, either side of center.
3. Drill a 1/8" hole through the entire wall at the center point and confirm interior clearance for system. Attach the 7" disc to the RV wall with a #8 x 1 ½" screw through center of disc and previously drilled 1/8" hole (see arrow "A" below)
4. Position cutting template to the RV on the center of the vertical and horizontal marked lines, secure template to the RV wall using any two opposite pre-drilled holes on the template with #8x1 ½" screws. Cut the access hole on the inner edge of the outer ring (see arrow "B" below) using the supplied ½" x 2 ½" straight cut bit, supplied guide bushing and lock nut installed into a 2" plunge router. (If not using the Reel RV Cutting equipment and templates cut an accurate 11.5" diameter (5.75" radius) hole around the marked location). Remove two template pieces.
5. Install an adequate putty tape or sealant around the interior mounting lip of the housing.
6. Install housing through the prepared mounting hole in RV wall with the spool in the closed, locked position. Position the housing with the small access port door to the bottom and secure with 2 screws in previously drilled holes (for mounting template). Check again for proper alignment and install remaining screw to secure the housing. Remove excess sealant from exterior edges.
7. IMPORTANT: (With 2100 Series) - The included backflow valve MUST be installed between the interior hose end and the RV input water line for the system to work properly with your RV. Pay close attention that the valve is installed correctly as to the marked flow indicator on the back flow valve.
8. Connect the system to a water supply (we recommend using an RV approved water pressure regulator between the water supply and input hose to protect the RV system) and check for leaks.
