 About Reel RV: Location Reel RV Products Inc. is located 17 miles South-East of Wetaskiwin, Alberta in the County of Wetaskiwin in Central Alberta, Canada. Vision To become a recognized leader in the North American RV component manufacturing business. Mission Reel RV Products Inc. will develop, assemble, package, market and distribute components to the North American RV industry Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and RV after market suppliers. Principles Goals Assemble, package, market and distribute 20,000 units per year for our hose and cord handling systems to become standard equipment supplied with each new RV produced in North America Background/History The idea for this RV Hose/Cord system came from personal experience with use of our own RV and the frustration of using and storing a separate input water hose and electrical cord. An initial search within the RV industry for some type of reel device to store and utilize a water hose and/or electrical cord with produced no results. It became apparent that the RV industry had no solution beyond the existing construction methods which involve an exterior hose bib connection device for input water and it is up to the RV owner/user to manage the connection, storage and use of the attaching hose to this device. Similarly with the electrical cord, the current RV solution includes and OEM constructed interior box which a 30 amp input electrical cord fits into. The user/owner often struggles with pulling the cord out and again pushing back into the compartment to store. With this in mind, we developed the water and 30-Amp electrical handling systems.
